• Allergies, Take III

  I finally made it!!! I have 65+ pricks on my arms from the allergy testing! And I'm really glad it's over. I'm not completely sure I believe the results, but at least it's over and I can adjust and go on with life.
  
  Just in case you're wondering... dust mites (who isn't?), mold (another shocker), cantaloupe (I don't like it anyway), broccoli (which I've finally gotten a taste for), and the shocker for me... egg yolks. Seriously? Egg yolks? And it caused the worst reaction. I would never have guessed it. Even more sad for me - last night I had scrambled eggs for dinner. I guess I can't do that anymore. Egg whites are still OK for me, but apparently, I've got to stay away from the yolks. My friend Mindy said, "that's just meringue".
  
  Speaking of Mindy... apparently Thursdays in January in 2008 aren't very good for cars. We were meeting tonight to go bowling. I got there first then called to see about where she was to know if I needed to go on in. We were talking about the allergy testing and I heard a bump, then she started saying, "Oh, my gosh" over and over - and very slowly. I was saying, "Mindy, what was that noise? Mindy are you OK?" It took a minute, but she finally answered - something just fell from the tree and busted my windshield. She turned around and went back a little ways to the gas station and I went over there... It was worse than I had imagined. There was even glass in her seat, though she kept saying it wasn't on her anywhere. I'm really glad she's OK. This is what it looked like...
